Trump: Matters are proceeding well to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons

U.S. President Donald Trump affirmed on Thursday that matters are proceeding perfectly with regard to preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. Trump stated in a post on his Truth Social platform, “Things are going perfectly well in the context of our efforts to completely prevent Iran from ever obtaining a nuclear weapon.” The U.S. president emphasized that he is extremely pleased with the work being carried out by U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, noting that “everything is proceeding exceptionally,” and stressing that Hegseth “is highly respected within the military establishment and has achieved tremendous accomplishments.”
