Conditions for Converting a Visit Visa to a Residence Permit for Children Under Five

A security source said that expatriates who do not meet the salary and university degree requirements to convert their visit visas into residence permits may bring their children under the age of five, provided that their wives are residents within the country.

The source told Al-Anbaa that these expatriates can also benefit from the recent ministerial decision, provided that their wives hold a valid residence permit in the country or that their permits expired less than a year ago. In such cases, the husband may bring his wife and pay the associated fees, emphasizing that approval falls under the authority of the Director General of Residency Affairs.
