United Nations reaffirms international confidence in Al-Najah Association and approves activation of its consultative status with ECOSOC

Dr. Jaber Al-Wandah, Director General of Al-Najah Charity Society, confirmed that the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) approved the activation of the Society’s consultative status, following a review and adoption of the periodic reports submitted by the Society. This step reflects international confidence in the Society’s humanitarian trajectory and its commitment to institutional work, governance, and transparency. Al-Wandah noted that Al-Najah Charity Society obtained consultative status with ECOSOC approximately eight years ago, and the renewal of this status underscores the Society’s commitment to institutional standards, governance, and transparency, as well as its continued pursuit of charitable and humanitarian work in accordance with global best practices.
