Cooperative Societies Union Urges Societies to Highlight 'Cooperative' Goods on Central Shelves

Sultan Al-Abdan: Al-Anbaa learned that the Federation of Consumer Cooperative Societies issued a circular to the chairs and board members of the cooperative societies, urging them to prioritize displaying “Al-Taawun” branded goods on central shelves within supermarkets, thereby enhancing their visibility to consumers and boosting demand.

Sources told Al-Anbaa that the circular is part of the federation’s efforts to support the marketing of “Al-Taawun” products, which are considered food and consumer goods sourced from both local and international suppliers and offered through supermarkets and branches affiliated with cooperative societies, ensuring their availability to consumers at competitive prices.

The sources added that the federation emphasized in its circular the importance of prominently and clearly displaying these products in key locations within central supermarkets, making it easier for shoppers to find them and achieving the desired goal of increasing their market presence while maintaining their reputation and consumer trust.

The sources indicated that this step is part of the federation’s efforts to strengthen the role of the “Al-Taawun” brand and enhance the marketing efficiency of its products, alongside supporting cooperative societies in providing diverse options that meet consumers’ needs while preserving product quality and ensuring stable availability in the market.
