Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour: “Badir wa Yana” Embodies Commitment to Providing a Comprehensive Educational and Recreational Environment for Children During the Summer

Aliya Al-Saqer, the Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Care of the Palace Affairs, confirmed that the “Bader Wa Yana” program is part of the commitment to providing a comprehensive educational and recreational environment for participating children under care during the summer vacation, in collaboration with Warba Bank and the Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Centre.

In a media statement during a field visit to the Authority’s beneficiaries participating in the program, Al-Saqer said the visit exemplifies the Authority’s dedication to monitoring the implementation of its summer programs on the ground, within the framework of the government’s family protection program, and to observing the activities offered to the children, thereby contributing to the development of their skills and reinforcing positive values.

She noted that the Authority strives to diversify the programs and activities offered to the children, achieving a balance between educational, cultural, and recreational aspects, and providing an encouraging environment that contributes to developing their personalities and enhancing their self-confidence, alongside instilling values of initiative, teamwork, and responsibility.

She added that these programs make optimal use of leisure time and contribute to developing their abilities and refining their skills through specialized programs implemented in collaboration with government entities and private sector institutions, reflecting the importance of community partnership in supporting and caring for the children under the Authority’s care.

It is worth noting that the “Bader Wa Yana” program aims to provide employment opportunities for orphans under care during the summer vacation, in coordination with certain private sector companies and government entities.
