Al-Fahheel’s first team drew 1-1 with Egypt’s Al-Saka Al-Hadeed in their first friendly match yesterday during their training camp in Alexandria, Egypt, as they prepare for the Premier League season, which kicks off on August 25.

The “Reds” aim to play three more matches in the coming days before returning to their country on August 17. This schedule will allow Slovakian coach Martin Seveila to achieve optimal physical readiness, helping players regain their fitness and endurance after a long break. Seveila will also test his tactical approach, offensive plans, and defensive style, while fostering team cohesion, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and conducting a comprehensive evaluation of all players to determine who deserves a spot in Al-Fahheel’s starting lineup.

Al-Fahheel resumed training yesterday morning to continue their program. Players who did not participate in the match took part in the main training session, while those who played against the Egyptian side underwent a lighter training load.

Meanwhile, Al-Salmiya drew 0-0 with Qatari side Al-Markhiya in their second friendly match yesterday evening in Izmit, Turkey. This followed their opening match, where they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Egyptian club Zamalek. The camp, which concludes on August 17, features two daily training sessions (morning and evening). Bahraini coach Ali Ashour is working to address individual errors that led to the 3-0 loss to Zamalek in their first match in Turkey last week. He also aims to reach peak readiness ahead of their third friendly, against Bahrain’s Al-Khalidiya, scheduled for Thursday evening.

For his part, Al-Tadamun continues daily training in Cairo, split into morning and evening sessions, in preparation for the start of the season in the Premier League on August 25. Their camp will run until August 19. The “Sons of Farwaniya” will play three friendlies during this period: the first against Abu Qir Fertilizers on Sunday, followed by a match against Al-Saka Al-Hadeed on August 14, and a final game against Pioneer on August 17 to conclude the camp.
