Youth Team Heads to Bahrain to Participate in the Arab Championship
The national junior volleyball team delegation departs Cairo today, heading to the Bahraini capital, Manama, to participate in the Second Junior Arab Championship, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain from August 7 to 17. The team delegation is led by Nayef Al-Filakawi, a member of the board of directors of the federation, and includes team administrator Abdullah Al-Rais, and the technical staff headed by Tunisian coach Mohamed Ali Ben Cheikh, his assistant Mohamed Al-Maimouni, and physical therapist Mohamed Al-Imam, along with 14 players. The national team concluded its overseas training camp yesterday, Thursday, in Cairo, during which it played four strong exhibition matches against the national teams of Qatar and Egypt.
