In Video: Criminal Investigation Department Seizes 56 Foreigners Who Violated Labor Law; Security Source: Legal Action Taken Against Guardians of Minors and Their Families

The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation, represented by the Juvenile Protection Department, carried out a security campaign in cooperation with the Public Authority for Manpower, covering the industrial areas of Jahra, Shuwaikh, Fahaheel, and Farwaniya. The operation involved inspecting and scrutinizing commercial establishments as part of ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations governing the labor market.

In a statement, the Ministry of Interior announced that the campaign resulted in the apprehension of 56 violators, including 10 juveniles, three individuals violating Article 22 (illegal affiliation with a sponsor), 17 individuals violating Article 18, and 24 individuals violating Article 20 (absconding). One case involved a violation of entry regulations.

The Ministry confirmed that all necessary legal and administrative measures have been taken against the violators, paving the way for completing procedures in accordance with prevailing systems and laws. The continuation of these security campaigns is part of sustained efforts to monitor and detect violations through coordination with relevant authorities, contributing to the enhancement of security and order and the equal application of the law.

Meanwhile, a security source stated that the Ministry of Interior is preparing to take legal action against sponsors of juveniles and illegal affiliations, as well as against sponsors of visitors who violate regulations, with the aim of deporting the violators from the country.
