Al-Qadisiya defeats Al-Arabi, while Kazma faces Al-Raed

Al-Qadsiah secured its first victory in its second friendly match during its training camp in the Turkish city of Izmit, defeating Saudi club Al-Arabi 3-1. This follows a 1-1 draw with Saudi side Al-Zulfi as part of their preparations for the start of the Premier League on the 25th of this month.

The yellow team’s hat-trick was scored by new arrivals, Moroccan striker Hamza Khaba and defender Bader Jamal, along with young forward Abdullah Al-Awadi.

The team is scheduled to play two more friendly matches, to be announced later, before returning to the country on the 18th, meaning they will be unable to play any friendlies in Kuwait due to the tight schedule.

Coach Mohamed Ibrahim started the match with a lineup featuring Saud Al-Qanaei in goal; defenders Khalid Ibrahim, Khalid Subaih, Rashid Al-Dosari, and Muath Al-Dhafiri; midfielders Talal Al-Fadl, Adabi Shahab, and Jassem Al-Mutairi; and forwards Eid Al-Rashidi, Abdulrahman Al-Mashfery, and Hamza Khaba. He made several substitutions in the second half, which contributed to an improved performance and the victory.

Also in Turkey, Kazma Club’s first football team played its second friendly match, facing Saudi side Al-Raed as part of their preparations for the new season in the Premier League and the Gulf Club Champions Cup, whose draw will take place on the 24th of this month.

The orange-clad team had previously drawn 2-2 with Qatari club Al-Waab in their opening friendly, a match in which Croatian coach Dragan Tadich prioritized playing most of his squad to boost their physical fitness and assess their levels.

The team will play two more friendlies against Bahraini side Al-Khalidiya and Algerian club Chlef on the 10th and 13th of this month, respectively, before returning on the 14th.
