The radio program “Al Darb” continues to broadcast its episodes from Sunday to Thursday, between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m., on the airwaves of Radio Program Two. The program is presented by Meshal Al-Zankawi and Asma’a Isa, prepared by Qusai Al-Duwaikh, Niveen Abulafi, and Ayat Rostom, produced by Fahad Al-Khalifa, and directed by Yasmeen Al-Ramzi.
The program covers a variety of segments, including the “Trend” segment, which highlights an important event or widely discussed news item, or a story related to a developing issue. This segment is either covered through a phone call with the relevant authority or via a dialogue among the program’s presenters, based on a news report, a specialized study, or general information.
Al-Anbaa was present in the program’s studio, where it hosted director Manaf Abdul to discuss his career in directing and his recent experience with actress Huda Hussein in the series “Sister Fakhriya,” as well as his work on several other series.
During its visit, Al-Anbaa also spoke with director Yasmeen Al-Ramzi, who said: “The core of the program revolves around the ‘Al Darb Guest’ segment, which features interviews with personalities connected to a range of topics, including government officials, medical experts, cultural and artistic figures, and social advocates. The aim is to deliver meaningful information to listeners within a framework enriched by songs and interludes featuring local dramatic and theatrical works, adding an element of beauty to the program.”
She added: “Radio programs consistently strive to present content that matters to listeners across all fields. ‘Al Darb,’ broadcast on Radio Program Two, is part of a diverse lineup of social programs that cover local news and issues, alongside various artistic topics. Specifically, ‘Al Darb’ aims to accompany listeners daily in a light and pleasant manner.”
