Established in the United Arab Emirates in 2007 under the directives of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan (may God have mercy on him), the award aims to elevate educational practices in the UAE and the Arab world at all stages by recognizing outstanding individuals and innovators in various educational and pedagogical fields.
The award seeks to strengthen the educational sector in the UAE and the wider Arab world by encouraging and motivating creative and outstanding individuals working in this field. It honors innovative educational figures who support education and enrich the educational landscape through educational research, innovative projects, and educational programs. The award promotes the integration of modern technologies, new media, sustainable environments, and community service into education, while reinforcing the identity of the Arabic language in the educational sector as a key component of national identity. Additionally, it encourages promising talents in innovation to prepare them for producing innovative content in the future.
