CENTCOM: We continue to enforce the naval blockade on Iran and have diverted the course of 48 commercial vessels

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that U.S. forces continue to enforce a naval blockade on Iran, noting that they have diverted 48 commercial vessels, disrupted two, and inspected two others since the resumption of the blockade.

In a post on the X platform, CENTCOM stated that the United States continues to enforce the blockade on Iran. As of August 5, U.S. Central Command forces had diverted 48 commercial vessels, disrupted two, and inspected two others.
