US Central Command: The southern route in the Strait of Hormuz remains open and available to all commercial vessels

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that the southern route in the Strait of Hormuz remains open and accessible to all commercial vessels. In a post on the X platform, CENTCOM said: “The southern route through the Strait of Hormuz remains open to all commercial vessels wishing to transit this international waterway. Over the past three months, U.S. forces have assisted more than 1,000 ships in successfully transiting the strait despite unjustified Iranian aggression, and these operations continue to this day.”
