Ministry of Education begins issuing high school graduation results... and the first phase of university coordination starts today
The General Administration of Examinations at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education began yesterday issuing success certificates for high school students who passed the 2026 general secondary school examination results, for those who wish to obtain them. The ministry confirmed that the success certificate is officially endorsed and stamped, and can be submitted to official authorities.
This comes as the first phase of university and institute admissions coordination for the 2026/2027 academic year begins today, Wednesday. The official electronic coordination website will be made available to high school students to enter and register their preferences for the first phase, until next Sunday, August 9, in accordance with the minimum score requirements and the number of students.
The Coordination Office confirmed that admissions to universities and institutes are conducted through the official electronic coordination website via the internet.
The Ministry of Higher Education had previously announced the first-phase coordination scores for the scientific science stream at 292 points, representing 91.25%, with a total of 23,154 students. The minimum score for the first phase in the scientific mathematics stream was recorded at 275.5 points, representing 86.09%, with a total of 16,046 students. For the literary stream, the minimum score for the first phase was set at 229 points, representing 71.56%, with a total of 55,567 students.
The total number of students participating in the first phase of the 2026 university coordination under the new system reached 94,767 students.
