Our Ambassador to the Netherlands presented his credentials to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague

Our Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Permanent Representative to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Abdulaziz Al-Jarallah, presented his credentials to the Director-General of the OPCW, Sabrina Infante, at the Organisation’s headquarters in The Hague.

In a statement, our embassy in The Hague said that Ambassador Al-Jarallah conveyed the State of Kuwait’s congratulations to the Director-General on assuming her duties, emphasizing Kuwait’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Organisation and supporting its efforts to implement the Chemical Weapons Convention, thereby contributing to the enhancement of international peace and security.

The statement noted that the two sides reviewed ways to develop joint cooperation, with the Organisation’s Director-General expressing her pleasure and appreciation for the constructive role played by the State of Kuwait within the Organisation, and her anticipation of continuing cooperation and coordination in the coming period.
