Kuwait strongly condemns and denounces the ongoing violations by the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and rejection of the ongoing violations committed by Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, particularly the targeting of civilians and health facilities, which has resulted in casualties including women and children, in violation of international law and international humanitarian law. The Ministry emphasized in a statement that the continuation of these violations constitutes a breach of the ceasefire agreement, undermines the efforts of intermediary countries and relevant parties to implement subsequent phases, and exacerbates the suffering of civilians. Kuwait also called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities by ensuring the protection of civilians, humanitarian workers, and medical facilities, and by guaranteeing the unimpeded delivery of aid, leading to a permanent ceasefire and an end to the humanitarian suffering in the Gaza Strip. Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s condemnation and rejection of the bombing that targeted a police center in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of several police officers and civilians. The Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with the friendly Islamic Republic of Pakistan, its rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism, and conveyed its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the government and people of friendly Pakistan, as well as to the families of the victims, while wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
