Ministry of Islamic Affairs, General Authority of Civil Aviation, and Kuwait Airways discuss preparations and arrangements for the upcoming Hajj season

The Chairman of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation, Sheikh M. Hamad Al-Mubarak, held a coordination meeting with the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Sulaiman Al-Suwailim, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Airways Corporation, Captain Abdulmohsen Al-Faqean, to discuss early preparations and arrangements for the upcoming Hajj season.

The meeting discussed mechanisms for organizing the departure and arrival of pilgrims to the Holy House of God through Kuwait International Airport, and enhancing prior coordination among relevant authorities to ensure that facilitations and procedures are implemented appropriately. It also explored possible ways to reduce the financial costs of Hajj flights, thereby contributing to providing the best services for pilgrims and facilitating their journeys.
