The Central Agency and the Ministry of Health discussed mechanisms for regulating and updating data on illegal residents

The Central Agency for Addressing the Status of Illegal Residents held a coordination meeting with the Ministry of Health, chaired by the Acting Secretary-General of the Agency, Brigadier General Dr. Sharif Al-Kandari, and attended by Assistant Secretaries-General and several officials from the Agency. The Ministry of Health delegation was led by Assistant Undersecretary for Digital Health Affairs, Eng. Adel Al-Rashidi, with the participation of the Director of the Information Systems Department, Eng. Khaled Al-Azmi, alongside several ministry specialists.

The meeting discussed mechanisms for organizing and updating data on illegal residents in the Ministry of Health’s systems, thereby enhancing data accuracy and integration across government entities, and contributing to the development of electronic procedures and improving the efficiency of provided health services.

Both sides also reviewed ways to strengthen electronic linkage and data exchange in line with best practices, supporting the digital transformation journey and helping to accelerate transaction processing and elevate the quality of government services provided to beneficiaries.
