Cooperation Protocol between the Sports Police and Shooting

The Shooting Club witnessed, yesterday, the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Police Sports Federation, and the Shooting Club, attended by the President of the Police Sports Federation, Commodore Sheikh Mubarak Ali Al-Yousef, and Eng. Daajig Al-Otaibi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Shooting Club, along with members of the club’s board of directors.

The signing of the protocol aims to strengthen cooperation between the two parties in various fields of shooting sports, serving common objectives that seek to provide the necessary facilities and ranges to train Ministry of Interior personnel, enhance the level of the Ministry’s shooters, and select the best shooters to join national teams.

For his part, Al-Otaibi praised the efforts of the President of the Police Sports Federation, Commodore Mubarak Ali Al-Yousef, in finalizing this cooperation, emphasizing that the partnership with the Ministry of Interior represents an important step to support the development of Kuwaiti shooting sports, enhance programs for preparing and qualifying shooters, develop the capabilities of Ministry of Interior players, and raise their technical levels, thereby strengthening the contribution of qualified elements to national teams capable of achieving successes.

Al-Otaibi also expressed his gratitude to the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, for his directives supporting sports activities, while appreciating the role played by the Deputy Minister of Interior, Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahab, in supporting the procedures and finalizing the protocol.

For his part, Commodore Sheikh Mubarak Ali Al-Yousef expressed his thanks to the Shooting Club’s Chairman, Eng. Daajig Al-Otaibi, and the members of its board of directors for their initiative and efforts in finalizing the cooperation protocol. He praised the distinguished achievements of Kuwaiti shooting at both regional and international levels, and the prestigious status it has attained among global shooting sports. He confirmed that this protocol opens wide horizons for partnership between the two parties, and that cooperation with the Shooting Club will extend to establishing and equipping the shooting ranges affiliated with the Police Sports Federation, contributing to the development of shooting sports infrastructure, enhancing the efficiency of Ministry of Interior personnel, and qualifying security and sports cadres according to the highest technical standards, thereby supporting Kuwait’s trajectory of sporting achievements.

For his part, Sheikh Sabah Salman Al-Sabah, Vice Chairman of the Shooting Club’s Board of Directors, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Commodore Mubarak Ali Al-Yousef, praising his efforts in concluding the cooperation protocol between the Police Sports Federation and the Shooting Club.
