Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Bahar contributes $3 million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund

As part of national efforts to enhance the State of Kuwait’s readiness to face various emergency situations, the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced that Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Bahar Company has contributed US$3 million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, which was launched on July 5 of last year. The Fund clarified that this contribution underscores the Kuwaiti private sector’s commitment to supporting national initiatives of priority, and reflects Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Bahar Company’s dedication to contributing to strengthening the country’s readiness by supporting efforts aimed at improving the efficiency of response to various emergency situations and circumstances. The Fund added that the company’s contribution helps bolster the capacities of the national response system by providing the necessary resources to enhance readiness and improve the efficiency of responses to emergency cases, thereby reinforcing the concept of national partnership and enhancing the state’s resilience in facing various challenges. It is worth noting that the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund was established through an initiative by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, following approval by the Council of Ministers, with the aim of entrusting its management and oversight to the Fund, in pursuit of strengthening institutional resilience, enhancing the efficiency of national response, and enabling relevant authorities to address emergency challenges effectively and efficiently.
