KIB Launches New “Premium” Package

Kuwait International Bank (KIB) has announced the launch of its new Premium package, designed to deliver a more distinctive banking experience that enriches customers’ lifestyles and supports their ambitions. The launch is part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to consolidate its premium benefits and services into a dedicated package that meets customer needs while offering greater financial flexibility and personalized services.

Commenting on the launch, Osman Tawfiqi, General Manager of Retail Banking at KIB, said: “We are pleased to introduce the new KIB Premium package, which reflects our continued commitment to providing a more tailored banking experience for our customers. The package has been designed to offer convenience and value-added solutions by bundling existing premium benefits and services, including priority banking services, exclusive card perks, travel privileges, concierge services, and a rewards and cashback program, alongside access to digital banking services.”

Tawfiqi explained that the Premium package is available to both existing and new customers of KIB’s Retail Banking division who meet the eligibility criteria, which include a monthly salary ranging from KD 1,500 to KD 2,999, or total deposits between KD 30,000 and KD 99,999, or their equivalent in other currencies.

Qualified customers will benefit from a range of existing banking perks, including a complimentary Visa debit card with a distinctive design, priority service through the 24/7 call center, priority transaction processing at all KIB branches, and an annual fee waiver.

Additionally, they will receive a complimentary Visa Signature credit card for the first year, enabling them to enjoy a wide array of existing bank benefits. These include travel services designed to enhance their lifestyle, access to over 1,200 airport lounges worldwide through the Visa Airport Companion program, and free multi-trip travel insurance for cardholders and their families for up to 90 days. The card also offers fraud and misuse protection, exclusive hotel offers, and discounts on booking and car rental services with selected partners. With acceptance at more than 1.9 million ATMs globally, the card provides customers with added convenience and flexibility while traveling.

Visa Signature cardholders can also benefit from 24/7 local and international concierge services, supported by a specialized team available via phone or email. Services include assistance with flight, hotel, and car rental bookings, restaurant reservations, event ticketing, and exclusive hospitality packages for special events, along with a variety of perks designed to enrich customers’ lifestyles.

Premium package customers also benefit from KIB’s recently revamped rewards program, which offers a seamless digital experience through the KIB Mobile app. Reward points are calculated based on the customer’s tier and approved credit limit, allowing Premium customers to earn points worth up to KD 300 per month. These points can be redeemed through various options, including cashback on credit or prepaid cards, deposits into current or savings accounts, electronic vouchers, digital shopping, and the ability to gift or transfer points.

The Premium package also includes a 50% discount on safe deposit boxes, as well as special discounts and offers from Kuwait International Bank and Visa. These benefits are designed to provide added convenience and value, meeting customers’ banking needs and personal requirements.
