Addicts Arrested in "Al-Qasr" and "Al-Aridiya"
Kuwait officials: Officers from the Al-Jahra Directorate’s patrol units arrested a man in his forties in possession of narcotics and drug-use paraphernalia in the Qasr area. During their patrol in Qasr, the officers spotted a car speeding recklessly. After pursuing and forcing the driver to stop, they found him to be under the influence. An inquiry revealed that he was in his forties, unemployed, and a search of his person uncovered narcotics and drug-use tools. He was subsequently taken and referred, along with the seized drugs, to the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics.
Meanwhile, Al-Farwaniya Directorate patrol units referred a repeat offender to the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics after apprehending him in the Al-Aridya area with a bag containing the narcotic substance methamphetamine. According to a source, while officers from the Al-Farwaniya Directorate were conducting a checkpoint at the entrance to the Al-Aridya Industrial Area, a person passed through the security post. The individual displayed signs of fear and confusion. When asked to present his identification, he attempted to throw a bag out of the car window, but it fell onto the seat. Upon questioning about why he had thrown the bag, he confessed that it contained methamphetamine.
