Video: Kuwait Fire Service urges calm, accurate address reporting, and swift evacuation of fire sites

The General Fire Force has urged the public to remain calm in the event of fires, emphasizing that prompt reporting and providing accurate information to the operations room contribute to faster deployment of firefighting teams and more efficient incident management. In an awareness video published on its electronic platforms, the Force explained that the first steps when a fire breaks out involve maintaining composure and contacting the operations room, providing the exact address and specifying the nature of the incident as much as possible, thereby enabling firefighting teams to respond swiftly and prepare to handle the report. It stressed the importance of evacuating all family members to a safe location as quickly as possible, and avoiding endangering lives by attempting to fight the fire if it is beyond control, while waiting for firefighting teams to arrive and manage the incident according to established procedures. The General Fire Force affirmed that adhering to these guidelines reduces risks and safeguards lives and property, wishing everyone safety.
