CENTCOM: We have diverted the course of 45 ships since the resumption of the blockade on Iranian ports

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that U.S. forces have rerouted 45 commercial vessels, disrupted two, and inspected two others since the resumption of the maritime blockade imposed on Iran.

In a post on the X platform, CENTCOM stated, “As of August 4, U.S. forces have rerouted 45 commercial vessels, disrupted two, and inspected two others to ensure compliance.”

The post was accompanied by an image of a U.S. sailor at the combat information center aboard the aircraft carrier USS Boxer (LHD 4) as it sailed in territorial waters to support the blockade.
