Interior Ministry: 4 kg of narcotics and 6,000 pills seized from 23 suspects

The Ministry of Interior announced that the Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics, arrested 23 suspects in 12 separate cases following intensive surveillance operations that confirmed their possession of narcotics for the purposes of trafficking and consumption.

In a statement, the ministry said that the seized substances found in the custody of the detained suspects amounted to approximately 4 kilograms of various narcotics, along with nearly 6,000 pills. Specifically, the seizures included 816 grams of Shabu, one kilogram of hashish, 2 kilograms and 62 grams of “Chemical” substance, 120 milliliters of “Chemical” oil, 105 sheets saturated with “Chemical,” 5,620 Lariqa capsules, 130 Captagon tablets, and 80 additional capsules. The haul also included five sensitive scales, eight firearm cartridges, 3,955 Kuwaiti dinars from sales proceeds, 50 grams of heroin, 21 grams of marijuana, and one gram of cocaine.

The ministry emphasized that the suspects and seized items have been referred to the competent authorities, and that its intensive security operations will continue resolutely to pursue drug traffickers and protect society from their dangers. It stressed that it will not tolerate any violation of the law against anyone proven to be involved in trafficking, distribution, or consumption, or any activity related to narcotics and psychoactive substances.
