The most sensitive issue, however, relates to the annual salary. Sources close to the negotiations indicate that the current offer leaves a gap of more than €10 million annually between Vinícius and Mbappé, a discrepancy the player rejects, as he believes he deserves the same standing within the club’s sporting project.

Although Real Madrid has informed the player that its offer represents its final position, the door to negotiations remains open to reach a mutually acceptable arrangement before making a final decision on his future. Should talks stall, departure will become a strong possibility, with Arsenal leading the list of clubs interested in signing him. The London club has already initiated contact with his entourage to explore the feasibility of a deal. According to the newspaper, Arsenal is preparing to offer the highest salary in English Premier League history to persuade Vinícius to move. However, the success of any transfer also depends on Real Madrid’s financial demands; the Spanish club is asking for approximately €170 million, while Arsenal aims to complete the deal for less than €150 million.

Despite the intensifying negotiations, staying at Real Madrid remains Vinícius’s first choice, though he is unwilling to renew under the current terms.
