Draw for Youth Category Competitions

The draw for the age-group competitions of the 2026-2027 sports season took place yesterday evening at the headquarters of the Kuwait Football Association, covering the under-19, under-17, and under-15 categories. The draw ceremony was attended by Kuwait Football Association board member Nasser Al-Adwani, technical director Mohammed Al-Filkaawi, competitions director Dr. Hamed Al-Otaibi, along with representatives of the participating clubs.

The under-17 league will kick off on September 1, while the under-19 league will begin on September 13. The under-15 league is scheduled to start on September 18.

Fifteen teams will participate in the under-19 league, which will be played in two stages. The first stage is the classification phase, where all teams compete in a single round-robin format. The second stage comprises the Golden League, a single round-robin tournament to determine the competition champion, featuring the top seven teams from the classification phase, and the Silver League, also played in a single round-robin format, involving teams ranked from eighth to fifteenth.
