Yarmouk and Sulaybiyah share top spot in 'Al-Awwal'

Al-Yarmouk claimed top spot in the First Division of the Zain League at the conclusion of Matchday 16, which ended late the day before yesterday, after defeating Al-Shamya 3-0. With this victory, Al-Yarmouk moved up to 35 points, while the losers remained on their previous tally of 10 points. Goals were scored by Isaac Mbinaza (two) and Joao Vitor.

In another match, Al-Salhiyaak managed to leap to second place after defeating Khaitan 1-0, with the goal scored by player Nasser Al-Filakawi. This win lifted the victors to 35 points, placing them joint top of the table, while Khaitan remained on their previous total of 18 points.

Sahel continued their slide for a second consecutive match, falling into another draw, this time against Burkan in a goalless stalemate. Sahel dropped to third place with 34 points, while Burkan moved up to 15 points.

Al-Jazira managed to defeat Sporty 3-0, raising their tally to 31 points, thereby maintaining their fourth-place position. Goals were scored by Isaac James, Charles Yao, and Hadi Shaabi.
