Al-Filakawi: Yarmouk gradually improves thanks to homogeneity

Al-Yarmouk FC’s first-team manager, Abdulaziz Al-Filakawi, praised the players’ performance following their 3-0 victory over Al-Shamya SC yesterday, in the 16th round of the Zain First Division League. The win marked their second consecutive triumph since the league resumed, lifting their tally to 35 points and placing them at the top of the standings.

Al-Filakawi stated that the team delivered a strong match, effectively controlling the game and dictating the flow, particularly in the second half, by adhering to the instructions of Portuguese coach Mota. He noted that the team’s level has been gradually improving compared to their previous two matches, a trend confirmed by their performance and result against Al-Shamya.

He highlighted that a key factor behind the team’s current form is the understanding and cohesion between local and foreign players, who are gradually adapting and showing good levels of performance. He expressed his hope that the players will maintain this level, along with their fighting spirit and enthusiasm, in the upcoming match against Kuwait SC on Friday.
