Al-Arabi concludes its Turkish camp with a Pyramid match today

Al-Arabi Club’s first football team will conclude its training camp in Turkey today with a match against Egyptian side Pyramids FC. This fixture marks the fourth and most challenging test for the squad since its arrival in Turkey on the 17th of last month, as Pyramids is considered one of the top and strongest African and Egyptian teams in recent seasons, boasting an elite group of players.

Before today’s match, Al-Arabi played three friendly games against Turkish clubs, suffering a 3-1 defeat against Erzurumspor, drawing 1-1 with Vanspor, and securing a 4-0 victory over Amadspor.

The “Green” team is now preparing to face Indian side East Bengal on the 12th of this month in the AFC Champions League Two playoff round. The technical staff, led by Croatian coach Goran Sablic, is expected to finalize the starting lineup for the upcoming match, having given playing time to all players in previous fixtures to assess their technical and physical levels before traveling to Kolkata on the 6th of this month.
