Kuwait Steel Company supports the Fund with $3 million

The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced that United Steel Industries (Hadeed Al-Kuwait) has contributed US$3 million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, launched on July 5 last year, with the aim of supporting national preparedness and enhancing the resilience of Kuwait’s emergency response system.
The Fund clarified that this initiative embodies the corporate and national social responsibility of United Steel Industries, reflecting its belief in the importance of collective efforts to support national initiatives aimed at strengthening the country’s overall preparedness and enabling relevant authorities to handle various emergency situations efficiently and effectively.
The Fund emphasized that the company’s contribution reflects the strategic role played by Kuwait’s private sector in supporting national efforts, by contributing to providing the necessary resources to enhance preparedness and rapid response to emergencies, thereby strengthening the resilience of the national response system and embodying the values of partnership, national responsibility, and social solidarity.
