Al-Mutairi for Banking offers $1 million to support the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund

The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced that Al-Mutairi Exchange Company has contributed US$1 million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, launched on July 5 last year, with the aim of enhancing national preparedness and improving Kuwait’s capacity for immediate response to exceptional circumstances.
The Fund clarified that this contribution embodies Al-Mutairi Exchange Company’s social and national responsibility, reflecting its conviction in the importance of coordinated efforts between state institutions and the private sector to support national initiatives aimed at strengthening the country’s overall readiness.
The Fund emphasized that Al-Mutairi Exchange Company’s contribution highlights the vital and responsible role of Kuwait’s private sector in supporting government efforts, providing the necessary resources for swift and effective handling of crises and emergency situations, as well as reinforcing values of solidarity and mutual support within society.
Al-Mutairi Exchange Company is among the leading firms in money transfer and exchange services in Kuwait, and was the first exchange company in the country. For over eight decades, the company has solidified its position as one of the most prominent financial institutions specializing in money transfer services, through a network of more than 140 branches spread across Kuwait.
It is worth noting that the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund was established at the initiative of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, following approval by the Council of Ministers. The Fund will manage the emergency fund and exercise full oversight of its operations, aiming to enhance institutional resilience, improve national response efficiency, and enable relevant authorities to confront challenges and emergency conditions with effectiveness and efficiency.
