Bank Wafi a Strategic Partner for the "Bidayati Sah" Exhibition

Wiyai Bank, Kuwait’s first digital bank, concluded its participation as a strategic partner in the “Bidayti Sah” (My Start is Right) exhibition, organized by the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) at The Avenues Mall from July 30 to August 1. Through its interactive booth, the bank supported and guided high school students and incoming university freshmen by introducing them to available academic specializations and opportunities, and providing the necessary counseling to help them make confident and informed educational and financial decisions.
The exhibition was attended by Dr. Hassan Al-Fajam, Director General of PAAET, and Mohammed Al-Othman, Chief Executive Officer of Personal and Digital Banking at NBK Group, along with several senior executives from both PAAET and Wiyai Bank.
During its participation, Wiyai Bank showcased a range of innovative digital banking solutions and services specifically designed for young people, with a focus on promoting financial literacy and fostering healthy spending and saving habits from the outset of their university journey. The bank also familiarized students with the SELECT card, tailored for university students, which offers exclusive benefits, diverse offers, and rewards from leading brands, thereby enhancing their daily experience and meeting their needs during this pivotal life stage. Wiyai’s participation aligns with its ongoing commitment to supporting Kuwaiti youth and accompanying them through various life milestones by providing exceptional digital banking experiences.
The “Bidayti Sah” campaign and exhibition aim to raise awareness among students and their parents regarding admission and registration plans, and to introduce them to the scientific and professional specializations offered, which align with their capabilities and meet the demands of the future job market.
Dr. Hassan Al-Fajam, Director General of PAAET, stated: “The ‘Bidayti Sah’ campaign stems from PAAET’s keenness to engage in direct communication with our students and their parents, and to provide accurate academic guidance that helps them choose specializations aligned with their aspirations and the needs of the job market. It also highlights the importance of understanding the opportunities offered by the colleges and institutes of PAAET.”
For his part, Mohammed Al-Othman, Chief Executive Officer of Personal and Digital Banking at NBK Group, said: “We are proud to be the strategic sponsor of the ‘Bidayti Sah’ admission and registration campaign exhibition, which reflects our firm commitment to empowering Kuwaiti youth during their most critical transitional phases. Preparing for university life extends beyond academic achievement; it also encompasses financial inclusion and equipping students with the necessary digital tools and skills to manage their finances efficiently and independently.”
