Ministry of Islamic Affairs: Registration open for Kuwaiti citizens to apply for positions as imams, preachers, and muezzins until September 30

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced the opening of registration for the written examination for filling a number of Sharia-compliant positions for Kuwaiti citizens, including roles as imam and khateeb, imam, and muezzin, as part of its efforts to attract and qualify national talents for work in mosques.
The ministry clarified that registration applications are accepted at the Imams and Muezzins Training Center in the Al-Ruqa’i area, during official working hours from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It noted that registration will continue until September 30 next year, urging interested candidates to register within the specified period in preparation for the written examination and to complete the recruitment procedures in accordance with the approved regulations and requirements.
