Municipality: 37 unlicensed advertising violations issued in Hawalli
The Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality announced that the Inspection and Municipal Services Follow-up Department of the Hawalli Governorate Municipality branch has conducted inspection tours to verify the extent to which markets and shops comply with municipal conditions and regulations.
Mohammed Al-Subaie, Director of the Inspection and Municipal Services Follow-up Department in Hawalli Governorate, stated that field inspections carried out on shops and advertisements resulted in the inspection of 60 establishments and the issuance of 37 violations. These violations included failure to renew advertisements, failure to maintain advertisements, and the erection or addition of informational activity signs without a license.
Al-Subaie warned business owners and shopkeepers of the necessity to ensure the validity of licenses for all activities related to shops, advertisements, and markets, in order to avoid violations, particularly with the issuance of the new advertising regulations, which have increased penalties and financial fines for offenders.
