KACSO and the Red Crescent discuss ways of joint cooperation

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Aviation Services Company (KASCO), Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Shaib, and the General Director of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Fawaz Al-Muzarri, discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides, contributing to the support of humanitarian and community initiatives.

Al-Shaib told KUNA that the two sides discussed, during a visit by a Red Crescent delegation to KASCO, several charitable projects that serve the community and strengthen the concept of social responsibility and humanitarian work in the country. He emphasized the company’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with national institutions, government entities, and public benefit organizations, based on KASCO’s belief in the importance of integration among various entities to serve society and achieve sustainable development.

He added that the company is fully prepared to provide various forms of support and cooperation with the Kuwait Red Crescent and contribute to the success of humanitarian and charitable initiatives, noting that KASCO possesses expertise and capabilities that qualify it for active participation in implementing many national and humanitarian projects.

He clarified that the company is currently undergoing a comprehensive development and expansion phase, which includes updating services and enhancing operational efficiency to align with the expectations of the Board of Directors and executive management, achieve the company’s interests, and elevate the quality of services provided, while continuing to fulfill its community and humanitarian role. Al-Shaib pointed out that KASCO has successful experiences in supporting charitable initiatives, including its ongoing cooperation with the “Na’emti” Charity, and affirmed the company’s aspiration to expand the scope of these initiatives in collaboration with the Kuwait Red Crescent to serve humanitarian work in the country.

For his part, Al-Muzarri praised, in a statement to KUNA, the role played by KASCO and its demonstrated cooperation and support for humanitarian initiatives, emphasizing that this cooperation reflects the spirit of national responsibility embodied by state institutions. He said that the coming phase will witness the holding of more joint meetings and workshops to study a number of humanitarian and charitable projects and initiatives, contributing to the implementation of flagship programs bearing the name of Kuwait and reflecting its pioneering status in humanitarian work at both the regional and international levels.

Attendees from KASCO included Board Member Adel Al-Qattan, Chief Executive Officer Fawaz Al-Badr, Acting Director of the Procurement Projects Department Abdullah Al-Qallaf, and Head of the Public Relations Office Fahad Al-Kandari. Attendees from the Red Crescent included Media Advisor Hamed Al-Amiri, Director of Administrative Affairs Asrar Hayat, and Head of the Media Department Ghanem Al-Damaj.
