On her 100th birthday, Jeddah defies Gen Z trends

American Pauline Kana celebrated her 100th birthday in an unconventional manner, appearing in video clips participating in various challenges and trends popular among Generation Z, a move that drew the attention of her followers worldwide. According to RT, Pauline, known as “Gangster Granny,” is famous for the comedic content shared by her grandson, Ross Smith, on social media platforms, where she has tens of millions of followers.
Her celebration of this milestone was not limited to videos; she attended the premiere of the new “Spider-Man” film, making a cheerful appearance. She had previously tried “crowd surfing” at a concert in Texas, setting a Guinness World Record as the oldest person to do so.
Despite reaching 100 years of age, Pauline remains self-reliant in her daily life and moves independently within her home, having successfully overcome colon cancer at the age of 96. Her grandson emphasizes that she embodies the message that age does not prevent one from enjoying life and trying new experiences.
