U.S. Central Command: We continue to strictly enforce the naval blockade on Iran

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that U.S. forces continue to strictly enforce the naval blockade on Iran, noting that they have diverted the course of 44 commercial vessels, disrupted two ships, and boarded two others since the resumption of the blockade.

In a post on the X platform, CENTCOM stated: “U.S. forces continue to strictly enforce the U.S. blockade on Iran. As of August 3, U.S. Central Command has diverted the course of 44 commercial vessels, disrupted two ships, and boarded two others.”
