Zain showcases its training opportunities for youth at Injaz
Zain Kuwait participated in the latest edition of the Field Training Opportunities Exhibition, organized by the Kuwait Achievers Association, where it presented undergraduate and recent graduate students with opportunities to gain practical experience within the company and to learn more about the nature of work in the telecommunications and technology sectors.
Zain took part in the exhibition’s opening ceremony, attended by Adel Al-Shamali, Vice Chairman of the Board of Kuwait Achievers; Layla Al-Mutairi, CEO of Kuwait Achievers; Faisal Al-Duwaisan, Head of Community Partnerships and Youth Empowerment Team at Zain Kuwait; as well as a group of partner representatives and students.
Zain’s booth attracted significant interest from students eager to embark on early professional experiences, allowing them to learn about the training opportunities offered by the company and the skills they can develop through direct interaction with employees in a work environment, including communication, customer service, public relations, teamwork, and project management accountability.
During the exhibition, the Zain team highlighted the field training opportunities available through the Zain Youth Network (FUN) program, one of the company’s flagship youth empowerment initiatives. The program enables participants to gain hands-on work experience at Zain on a part-time basis, along with a monthly incentive allowance.
Since its launch in 2008, the FUN program has provided thousands of students with the opportunity to develop their personal and professional skills, understand labor market requirements, and build practical experience that supports their readiness for future career paths. Many outstanding participants in the program have since joined Zain as full-time employees.
Under the umbrella of the Zain Youth Network (FUN) program, a wide range of initiatives and programs are implemented throughout the year. These include field training opportunities, a summer program that offers young people direct practical experience within Zain branches, workshops and training sessions to develop personal and professional skills, and the FUN Talks initiative, which brings students together with a select group of entrepreneurs and individuals with inspiring experiences to exchange knowledge and gain closer insights into the world of entrepreneurship, thereby enhancing their readiness for the labor market and supporting their ambitions and future career trajectories.
