"The Gulf": Hamed Al-Tamimi appointed head of Human Resources Management

As part of its efforts to empower young professionals, develop national leadership, and provide them with opportunities to assume senior executive positions, Gulf Bank announced the appointment of Hamed Al-Tamimi as Head of Human Resources, effective immediately. This appointment recognizes his distinguished professional career spanning more than 19 years within the bank, during which he held roles across retail banking, operations, and human resources, ultimately serving as Acting Head of Human Resources.
Al-Tamimi possesses extensive expertise in human resources, including compensation and benefits, HR business partnering, workforce planning, talent acquisition, and establishing the bank’s HR analytics department. Throughout his career, he has played pivotal roles in developing the bank’s HR strategy, strengthening institutional capabilities, and supporting the achievement of the bank’s long-term vision and strategic objectives.
Regarding his academic and professional qualifications, Al-Tamimi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and has obtained several professional certifications from leading global universities and institutions in data analytics, operational excellence, compliance, and specialized skills development.
The bank stated that Al-Tamimi’s promotion to General Manager of Human Resources reflects its confidence in his competence and experience, and underscores its commitment to implementing a strategy aimed at empowering national talent, developing human capital, and fostering an innovative work environment that supports the achievement of its future goals.
