Kuwait Football Association signs Greek coach Vasilios to lead the senior national team

The Kuwait Basketball Federation announced the signing of Greek coach Vasilis Pratsiakos to take charge of the senior national team during the first window of the Asian qualifiers.

In this regard, Gazi Al-Otaibi, the federation’s treasurer, stated that the selection of Coach Pratsiakos was based on his extensive technical expertise, his distinguished and accomplished coaching record with national teams and clubs, as well as his experience in basketball in the Gulf region, having previously coached in the area.

He clarified that the contract with Pratsiakos is part of the federation’s plan to enhance the technical staff’s capabilities and ensure optimal preparation for upcoming commitments.

Al-Otaibi expressed his confidence in the Greek coach’s ability to lead the senior national team to deliver the best possible performances and provide the required technical enhancement in the coming phase, wishing him and the national team players success in the upcoming Asian qualifiers.

The national team will head to Egypt in the near future for a training camp, where they will play several preparatory matches before traveling to the United Arab Emirates to compete in the Asian Cup qualifiers, which will kick off on August 23.
