In a move that has drawn the attention of followers and the artistic community, actress Yasmin Abdel Aziz has once again brought to the forefront the ongoing debate surrounding the box office revenues of cinematic films. This comes after she shared an official statement issued by the production company of her new film, “Khali Bak Min Nafsak,” which stars her alongside actor Ahmed El Sakka, clarifying the reasons for not disclosing the ticket sales figures for the project.
Yasmin posted an image of a decisive statement issued by the company “Synergy Plus,” bearing the signature of producer Tamer Marssi, on her official Facebook account. The statement announced that the company would not release any figures regarding the revenues of “Khali Bak Min Nafsak” since its theatrical release, despite the heightened interest surrounding the film’s launch.
Abdel Aziz confined herself to publishing the statement without adding any commentary. Meanwhile, the company emphasized in its statement that its decision stems from a desire to distance itself from competition based on revenue figures, and to focus instead on delivering cinematic works of artistic value that resonate with audiences, thereby contributing to the development of the Egyptian film industry.
