Kuwait Airways announced the launch of direct flights to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, operating twice weekly on Sundays and Tuesdays, as part of its expansion plans aimed at strengthening its route network and offering more options to customers during the travel season.
In this regard, Acting Chief Executive Captain Abdulwahab Al-Shatti stated that launching Tbilisi as a destination aligns with the company’s strategy to diversify its route network and meet the growing demand for tourist destinations popular among travelers. He emphasized Kuwait Airways’ commitment to providing diverse travel options that cater to the needs of various customer segments, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Al-Shatti added that Tbilisi is a distinctive tourist destination, renowned for its stunning natural scenery, historical landmarks, and cultural heritage, making it an ideal choice for those seeking holidays and diverse travel experiences. He noted that operating direct flights to the city will facilitate travel and enhance air connectivity between the State of Kuwait and Georgia.
He further clarified that this initiative reflects Kuwait Airways’ dedication to offering a schedule that meets travelers’ needs, confirming that the company continues to explore opportunities to add more promising destinations that fulfill customer aspirations and reinforce the position of “Kuwaitia” as the national carrier of the State of Kuwait.
Meanwhile, Kuwait Airways recently announced the launch of its summer package offers through “Kuwaitia Holidays,” providing a 20% discount on comprehensive travel packages that include flight tickets and hotel accommodation. The offer is valid during the sales period from July 31 to August 15, 2026, with travel dates ranging from July 31 to December 31, 2026. The packages cover all destinations served by the airline in Europe, the Gulf countries, the Middle East, and East Asia.
