KD5 for the First Issue of Floating Units and Sea Bikes Stamps

The Official Gazette, “Kuwait Today,” published the Ministry of Interior’s Decision No. 1089 of 2026 concerning fees for plates of floating units and jet skis. The Ministry of Interior set the first issuance fee for plates of floating units and jet skis at 5 dinars. The decision, published in the Official Gazette “Kuwait Today,” stipulated the following in Article One:

- New issuance for the first time: 5 dinars for all sizes.

- Replacement for damaged or lost plates: 25 dinars for vessels over 40 feet; 20 dinars for vessels between 16 and 40 feet; and 15 dinars for vessels under 16 feet.

- Change of activity or nature of the boat’s operation: 70 dinars for vessels over 40 feet; 60 dinars for vessels between 16 and 40 feet; and 50 dinars for vessels under 16 feet.

Article Two of the decision tasked the Undersecretary of the Ministry with its implementation, and it takes effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
