CENTCOM: We altered the course of 35 commercial vessels and disrupted two since resuming the naval blockade on Iran

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that U.S. forces have rerouted 35 commercial vessels, disrupted two, and inspected two others since the resumption of the maritime blockade imposed on Iran.

In a post on the X platform, CENTCOM stated that as of August 2, U.S. Central Command had rerouted 35 commercial vessels, disrupted two, and inspected two others.

The post was accompanied by a video showing an F-35C stealth fighter jet from the U.S. Marine Corps taking off from the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) as it transited the Arabian Sea, as part of support for the U.S. blockade on Iran.
