Saudi Crown Prince Discusses Regional Developments in Phone Call with US President

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that this discussion took place during a phone call between the Saudi Crown Prince and the US President.

SPA clarified that Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasized during the call the necessity of prioritizing dialogue to de-escalate tensions, and the importance of making every possible effort to achieve a calming of the situation that paves the way for diplomatic solutions yielding positive results to preserve the security and stability of the region, and to prevent being drawn into a broader conflict whose repercussions would affect regional and international security and stability.

The agency noted that the call also reviewed existing areas of cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance them.
