In Video: Capital Security Authorities Deport 11 Foreign Workers Who Violated Labor Laws

A security source stated that 11 expatriate workers who were caught selling food and consumer products and preparing meals have been referred for administrative deportation. The source noted that the apprehension of these expatriates, who violated labor laws, followed a campaign carried out by the capital’s security forces in cooperation with a team affiliated with the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition and the Kuwait Municipality.

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that the campaign targeted six residences where commercial activities and food manufacturing were confirmed. It added that two small trucks and two motorcycles, used for distributing these products via delivery services, were seized.

The ministry stated that the raids on the six homes were conducted after capital support patrols observed commercial activities that violated the law inside residences designated for housing rather than commerce. The ministry affirmed its commitment to continuing joint security campaigns in coordination with relevant authorities across various governorates, contributing to the consolidation of the rule of law and the preservation of community security and safety.
