Slaf: Art Was More Than Just a Hobby

Artist Slawa Fawakhri affirmed that her relationship with art did not begin when she entered the field of acting, but rather was a passion that accompanied her since her early years. She said she felt a strong attraction to art even before she understood the nature of the profession or considered pursuing it professionally.

Slawa explained, during an artistic symposium held in her honor, that her early experience in front of the camera left a clear imprint on her personality and also reflected on her academic life. She noted that initially, she achieved average academic results, but her passion for acting gave her greater motivation to strive, leading her to become more interested in her studies and achieve better results. She hinted that, for her, art was not merely a hobby, but a dream that grew with her year after year until it became an integral part of her life and career.
