Amid a large crowd, the Emirati singer Ahlam concluded her concert evening yesterday at the Abdu Al-Jawhar Arena in Jeddah, held under the patronage of the General Entertainment Authority and organized by Bench Mark Company.
The three-hour musical evening featured Ahlam, known as “Umm Fahad,” performing more than 25 of her old and new songs. She opened her show with the song “Ahsan,” followed by “Hatha Li Shayf Nafsuh,” “Muthir,” “Lamma Qalbi,” “Shakli Wallahi Habbitak,” “Ya Qalbi Samma Allah Alayk,” “Yawm Habba Al-Waqt,” “La Baraka Allah Fi Al-Ghiyab,” “Ashan Al-Hubb,” “Tahess Feeni,” “Hubbni Aw Hubb Ghayri,” “Ka’anni ‘Umri Ma Habbit,” “Hazeen,” “Muthir,” “Baghidak,” and “Yak Wa Yak,” among many other songs that received a strong response from the audience.
Ahlam concluded her artistic evening with a performance of the Saudi national anthem “Fawq Hama Al-Sahab,” as the audience sang along with her, accompanied by the orchestra’s choir led by Walid Fayyad.
