Ministry of Health: Cancellation of all decisions appointing supervisory positions at all levels, unless approved by the Undersecretary

Abdul Karim Al-Abdullah: The Ministry of Health has issued a decision regarding supervisory positions, addressing all sectors of the ministry, including assistant undersecretaries, directors of central departments and health regions, hospitals, and heads of primary care.

The decision, published by Al-Anbaa, confirms the cancellation of all appointments to duties and tasks for supervisory positions at all functional levels, unless approved by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health.

The decision emphasizes that no appointments to duties and tasks for supervisory positions at any functional level shall be issued, thereby restricting this authority to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health.

It further specifies that if there is a need to issue an appointment to duties and tasks for supervisory positions at any functional level, the matter must be referred to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health to take appropriate action.

This decision refers to Ministerial Decision No. (66) of 2024, dated March 12, 2024, which delegates to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health the authority to issue necessary decisions regarding appointments to duties and tasks for supervisory positions at all their functional levels.
